3 Cordi PNP officers retire; given honors

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- The Police Regional Office Cordillera honored three retiring personnel in appreciation of their commitment and long years of police service here Sept. 22.
PRO Cordillera regional director, officer-in-charge Brig. Gen. Patrick Joseph Allan and deputy regional director for operation Col. Ronald V. Gayo presented Medalya ng Paglilingkod (PNP service medal0 and plaque of appreciation to the three retiring cops.
Honorees for the ceremony were Col. Davy Vicente Limmong of Ifugao Police Provincial Office, Lt. Maurice Ligtinen of Baguio City Police Office and PEMS Carmelo Tadeo of Abra Provincial Police Office. Certificates of recognition were also given to the families of the retirees as expression of appreciation for their support, selfless love and sacrifices for the retiring cops.
During the program, Allan extended gratitude and respect to the three retirees for their noble, unwavering dedication and immeasurable commitment to the police service.
Representing the retirees, Limmong thanked the PNP and PRO Cordillera for honing them to become honorable members of the organization and acknowledging his family and colleagues for their support throughout his career in the police service.
He urged members of the PNP, especially PRO Cordillera, to keep with them the mandate and love to serve and protect the people.
