Hiding for 33 years, 93-year-old man in Ifugao slay nabbed

SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya – A 95-year-old man charged for murder who went into hiding for 33 years was arrested by Cordillera cops here in Sitio Calaoagan, Bascaran on Oct. 25.
    Reports submitted to Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. identified the arrested suspect as Balog Pah-e, resident of Poblacion, Hingyon, Ifugao.

    He was listed as third most wanted person in the region.
    Elements of  Ifugao Police Provincial Office, Regional Intelligence Unit-14, Regional Intelligence Division PRO Cordillera, 2nd     Benguet PMFC and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 arrested the suspect following arrest warrant issued last Aug. 29 by Judge Romeo U. Habbiling of  Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Lagawe, Ifugao.
    The same report said the incident happened March 1990 in Hingyon, Ifugao, when the suspect shot his victim in different parts of his body with a shotgun, which caused his death.
    Pah-e was brought under custody of Hingyon police.
