TABUK CITY, Kalinga -- Provincial police
director Senior Supt. Froilan Perez has ordered increased police visibility and
patrol particularly in public areas with the onset of the Christmas season when
crimes increase..
Perez said he ordered his men to keep
maintain presence near school campuses, public markets and conduct regular
roving patrols.
Recent police reports showed increasing cases
in robbery, hold-ups, motorcycle carnapping and common crimes in the city which
prompted residents to call police.
Perez said police community action posts have
been strengthened for immediate police response to distress calls from
residents.
He urged them to get police hot lines for
immediate response.
Perez said good police relations with
civilians on matters of peace and order will assure friendlier and more
efficient police service to the community.
