8 wanted men nabbed including army trooper

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Police recently arrested eight wanted persons including an army trooper in separate police operations in Abra, Benguet and Mt. Province while an New People’s Army member surrendered in Abra.

Those Arrests included Leoncio Poliwes, Lacbongan, 48, of Madaymen, Tabio, in Mankayan for slander.

Kabayan, Benguet police also arrested an 18 year old resident of Caretas, Pinayagan, Nueva Vizcaya for serious physical injuries  following arrest warrant  issued by Judge Adolfo R. Malingan of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Bokod-Kabayan, Benguet.

La Trinidad, Benguet police also arrested Nida Kewi Metua, 37,  of Eastern Buyagan, for estafa.

Tuba, Benguet police also nabbed  a 16 year old youth at Carunuan West, Rosario, La Union by virtue of a warrant of arrest for three counts of rape.

On March 10, Paracelis, Mountain Province police also arrested a 44 -year old laborer of Sitio Sabalan, Bacarri, Paracelis for theft.

Suspect Ponciano Paga Jr. was nabbed by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Bernabe Mendoza of the Regional Trial Court in Roxas, Isabela.

On March 11, three persons were nabbed in Abra and Benguet in police operations.

Tayum, Abra police led by Senior Insp. Andres D. Calaowa Jr. arrested Robie Bosque Tejero, 43, of Sitio Pagpagatpat, Barangay, Bumagcat in the town.

Tejero was arrested in his residence by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Loreto L. Seares, presiding judge of the 2nd MCTC of Tayum for reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries and damage to property.

Itogon, Benguet police also arrested Juanito Jualian Dionisio, 47 of Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet for slight physical injuries.

Judge Jose S. Encarnacion of the MTC, Itogon issued the warrant for his arrest.

Also, Mankayan  police nabbed Teresita Soriano Danilo, 64, of Cervantes, Ilocos Sur for violation of

Bouncing Checks Law.

Judge Jacqueline J. Ongpauco, presiding judge of the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 69, Pasig City issued the warrant for his arrest.
